Support Our Heroes Collecting Care Package Items

Support Our Heroes, which sends care packages to soldiers overseas, is collecting items for care packages this holiday season. The foundation, which was started in 2004 by Lucy Mercado when her son Luis Mercado Jr. was stationed in Iraq, is now in its 11th year.
Support Our Heroes currently sends care packages to platoons in Afghanistan. The foundation is looking for help with postage, as well as other items including: juice bottles, peanuts, candy, energy bars, soap, body lotion and more. For a complete list of items visit http://supportourheroes.net/.
