The Week In Review-The Weekend Ahead

City Police Deliver Gifts, Christmas Cheer

XX Police Deliver Presents.jpg

The City of Newburgh Police Benevolent Association and Police Superior Officers’ Association conducted a toy drive for children ages 2-9 this holiday season. Members of each union contributed one toy each. On Dec. 23 Chief Daniel Cameron, Sgt. Kevin Lahar and officers Chris Tabachnick and Frank Quinn loaded the toys into a police truck and drove around the city to hand them out. Whenever a small child was spotted they gave the child a toy and wished the child and his or her family happy holidays. (photo provided)
