Cornwall Nature Museum – “I Spy” Halloween Trail
Cornwall, NY- Young ghosts and ghouls are welcome on Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29 at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall for the “I Spy” Halloween Trail! Families looking for a fun but not-so-spooky Halloween adventure can drop in at any time between 11:00a.m. and 3:00 p.m. On the Halloween Trail, posters in rhythm and rhyme lead everyone to search for objects cleverly hidden along the trail. Brave adventurers will discover which items belong in nature, like skulls and bones, and which ones do not.
Find them all and earn a prize. In addition, visitors can see live animals such as reptiles and insects in the “Creepy Crawly” room, play a Halloween game or make a spooky craft! Museum Educator Carl Heitmuller invites you to join in on the fun, saying, “I spy a leg bone, a deer antler too, yarn, a beach pail, and the word BOO! Come join us there is so much to do. Fly down on your broom, to visit the animals in our Creepy Crawly Room!”. Minimal charge. For more information visit hhnm.org or call 845-534-5506 x204.
