“Transition Service” for Mayor Judy Kennedy
As many of you already know, Mayor Judy Kennedy passed away yesterday Sunday, April 15, 2018 of complications from Stage 4 ovarian cancer. She touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Let us remember her words as we individually and collectively move forward in our own lives and with the people we meet each and every day: “We’ve got to help each other rise together.”
Mayor Judy Kennedy’s “Transition Service” will be held on April 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center on South William St. People are asked to bring bottled water, a potluck dish, serving utensils, plastic plates, bowls, cups, utensils and napkins for your dish. The Transition Service Program includes singing, speeches & poems.
In lieu of cut flowers you may bring a living plant and or make donations to:The City of Newburgh Shot Spotter Program, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh and the Newburgh Ministry.
