The 19th Mission of the Hudson Valley Honor Flight took place at Stewart Airport on Saturday. More than 150 motorcycles escorted buses loaded with the Veterans to Stewart Terminal. After the motorcycles parked, he Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes and Drums band played a welcome. The buses then pulled up and the Veterans were led down the side of the terminal where the groups of motorcycles riders applauded and thanked them for their service. They then went inside and were seated for a brief ceremony before boarding the plane for their trip to Washington,D.C. and a day of sightseeing DC’s monuments.
