New Mayor for the City of Newburgh

BREAKING NEWS: City of Newburgh Has a New Mayor

Torrance Harvey has been unanimously appointed as Mayor of the City of Newburgh after last week’s passing of 2-term Mayor Judy Kennedy. The audience was clearly delighted with the choice, responding with cheers and applause. Harvey first resigned from his council seat, which will now be filled by Anthony Grice who will be an “at large” councilman. Grice is an educator. The appointment will hold until next November’s election. Grice had run for the 3rd Ward position last Fall when Regina Angelo retired.

Harvey is also a Life Coach and runs a Multi=Media company, Torrance Harvey Enterprises involved in marketing, fairs, film productions, films, tutoring, promotion of multiculturalism in education among other offerings.
