Washingtonville Beautification Grows

The Village of Washingtonville’s Beautification Committee planted flowers in E.J. McLaughlin Common in the center of the village, several large pots at the corners of the main intersection of 208 and 94, and the area near the veterans’ memorial stones in the parking lot on West Main Street. In addition, about 15 pots were filled with white pine trees along the Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and Auto Zone parking lots. In the fall, these trees will be transplanted to various areas such as the new Sewell Community Park (currently under construction across from the middle school), Vern Allen Park, and the Firemen’s Memorial Park (both on Ahern Blvd.).
