LED STREETLIGHTS: Bright Idea or Blight?

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3rd, the Cornwall Conservation Advisory Council will be hosting a public information meeting titled, ‘LED Streetlights: A “Bright Idea” or “Blight on Communities?’
Carla Castillo, Chair of the Cornwall Conservation Advisory Council and Mid-Hudson Program Director of NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities Program, will be speaking about LED light technology for municipal street lights, as well as learnings and best practices seen in the Mid-Hudson region and state-wide. Topics that will be discussed include: applications for LED lights, streetlights — municipal opportunities for conversion to LEDs, best practice applications of LED streetlights.
This meeting is free and open to the public.
Again, the meeting is tomorrow, October 3rd, at 7 pm at Munger Cottage in Cornwall.
