“Not One More” at WHS Warns Against Impaired Driving

The annual Not One More presentation given to students at Washingtonville High School on Oct. 9 warned about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving. Led by John Jones from the Orange County STOP DWI and Traffic Safety Program, the annual speaker was Brian Strommer, whose son Brian Strommer II was killed in a tragic car accident in 2010 where the driver of the vehicle was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. From l. to r. are: Washingtonville Police Department (WPD) Officer Scott Davy, Blooming Grove Police Department (BGPD) Sergeant Kevin Wakeham, Washingtonville High School Principal Brian Connolly, John Jones, Brian Strommer, WPD Chief Brian Zaccaro, WPD SRO Charlie Martin, and (not pictured) BGPD Chief Carl Schupp. (Photo provided)
