The Week In Review-The Weekend Ahead

Washingtonville JROTC Goes Fishing

Washingtonville JROTC Goes Fishing

On Thursday, 11 October 2018, the Washingtonville High School JROTC went charter fishing out of Brooklyn, NY. The weather was a concern so the cadets were issued ponchos and previous informed to dress in layers. Fortunately, the weather was not a factor. The trip was a huge success and all of the cadets caught fish. The top spot went to c/LTC Kyle Thompson who reeled in 12 fish. The largest fish went to Cadet Jason Hamilton. Regardless of the most or largest fish all of the cadets had a great time and were hoping to do this again in the future. Kyle Thompson had this to say, “I was just glad that I out- fished Chief Brickel. It was so much fun and we can’t wait to do it again.”
