W’ville Farmers Market Ends Season, Looks Forward to Xmas Parade

The Washingtonville Farmers and Artisans Market closed its booths for the 2018 fall season on Oct. 28. Winter is upon us and while all of the outdoor markets must hibernate, the Washingtonville market’s two main produce/meat/dairy farms, Halal Pastures and Wagon Wheel Farm, both have goods for purchase throughout the year at their home locations of Twin Arch Road (in Rock Tavern) and Sarah Wells Trail (in Goshen). Market organizers said the artisans and craftspeople featured at the market also sell their wares from their homes, and many of them will be at the “Whoville Who-bilation” holiday market in the center of Washingtonville as part of the festivities surrounding the wildly successful ninth annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 1. In this image, market organizers announced, “Our fantastic team of hard working individuals came together for the last day of the 2018 season. Looking forward to 2019!” (Photo provided)
