DA HOOVLER TO RECEIVE PRESTIGIOUS AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE FROM HUMANE SOCIETY FOR SUCCESSFUL CONVICTIONS IN RYAN HORSE ABUSE CASE
Photo: The pony “Shamus” has been completely rehabilitated after being found near death in the early stages of a horrific horse abuse case in Goshen, where bones of numerous deceased horses were found in and around the barn. He was rescued and rehabilitated by Laurie Brinkworth of a Poneytales Rescue, a Honesdale PA rescue group.
This afternoon, November 28, the New York State Humane Society will Present Award of Excellence to District Attorney Hoovler for Prosecution of Horse Abuse Case
The award O will be presented an award by Patricia Valusek, President of the New York State Humane Society, who will be joined by the Chairperson of the Board, and another Board Member of the Society who is an attorney and a cruelty investigator in Rockland County.
