Scouts Feed the Community And Hold Bike Rodeo
Pack 316 Cub Scouts had a very busy week. It began with an annual Easter Bunny Breakfast on April 7 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washingtonville where they prepared and served food to the community as an annual fundraiser, with the intent to teach the scouts about customer service and public speaking.
On Friday they donned their safety helmets and gathered at Round Hill Elementary School for the Annual Bike Rodeo. Despite the rain, the Scouts learned about bike safety, including hand signals, and had a “race” to see who could be the slowest to cross the finish line along a fun obstacle course. (Photos Provided)
