County Commissioner Receives Lifesaving Assistance
Orange County Government announced they are glad to welcome back John McCarey, their well-respected Director of Real Property Services, to the Government Center this week
John suffered from a cardiac arrhythmia in the lobby of County Executive Steve Neuhaus‘s Office on April 3rd. Orange County Sheriff’s Offices’ Andrew Eberhardt, who is assigned to the County Executive’s Office, provided life-saving medical treatment. Deputy Eberhardt’s quick-thinking helped save John’s life. Three other members of the County Executive’s staff, Doreen Hamel, Sheri Hentschel and Mary Pat Smith, assisted Deputy Eberhardt in saving John. John and Deputy Eberhardt met up again in a touching moment on Tuesday morning.
