Cornwall – Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) honored Pete Kurpeawski from Cornwall as he was inducted into the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame. The New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame was created to honor and recognize outstanding veterans from the Empire State who have distinguished themselves both in military and civilian life.

“Pete is a dedicated and esteemed veteran as well as an exemplary and philanthropic member of the Cornwall community,” said Senator James Skoufis. “From spending 30 years in the United States Army, including two tours in Iraq, to creating the Cornwall Medal of Honor Memorial and coordinating Cornwall’s ceremonial events, Pete has shown dedication to both our country at-large and our community. It was my great honor to induct Pete into the Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame and I am beyond grateful for his service.”
