County’s Real Properties Commissioner John McCarey Officially Retires
Last week saw the end of an era, with Orange County Commissioner of Real Properties, John McCarey, retiring after serving under 5 administrations. McCarey has been respected from all levels of government and the people of Orange County because of his dedication, attention to detail, and integrity. He suffered a heart attack in April but was back at work by May. McCarey celebrated the end of almost 40 years of service to Orange County last Friday with his work acknowledged by dozens of officials.
