Jessica Kolka, Peggy McCann and Susanne Mooney of the Horizon Endoscopy, Slate Hill and Pulmonology offices, respectively, are the first LPN graduates under Horizon’s Clinical Excellence Education Program (CEEP) .
“It’s been a fantastic opportunity,” Susanne said.“The program has not only helped me better myself but has enabled me to be able to aid more in patient care,” Peggy added. “The schedule and assistance made attending the program and working an easy transition,” said Jessica.
Horizon CEO Jim Olver congratulated them, “We’re so proud of these inaugural CEEP graduates. They’re representative of all the members of the Horizon team. CEEP is a way of paying forward the good fortune our group has enjoyed in its more than two decades of growth. We’re investing in our Horizon family, our community and enhanced patient care.”
Lisa Scott of BOCES said, “Orange-Ulster BOCES welcomed the opportunity to partner with Horizon Family Medical Group to train their employees in our Licensed Practical Nurse program. Jessica, Peggy and Susanne were excellent students and leaders in both the classroom and clinical aspects of the program.
