New Windsor EMS Meets With Camp Kids At

Kristi Babcock Park

New Windsor Ambulance partnered with the Town’s Recreation Department to discuss and explain to the summer camp groups located at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park and Ruscitti Park what they do when they show up on scene. EMS Chief Mike Bigg said “We showed the children the equipment that we use in emergencies, when it’s important to call 911 and how to help someone who is hurt while waiting for emergency services to show up.  We also gave the children a tour of our ambulance. We want to thank Matthew Veronesi, Director of Parks and Recreation for inviting us to be a part of showing our community our equipment,  what we do in emergencies and how to help their family, friends and neighbors.  The children were very excited and receptive to our presentation.”
