Road Repairs Ramp Up

In Anticipation of Winter

Blooming Grove – Towns throughout the area have been working diligently to catch up on road and sidewalk repairs in preparation for winter weather.

Blooming Grove Highway Superintendent Wayne Kirkpatrick has tackled the actual paving of roads that were dug up and milled over the past two months, including  Woodcock Mt., Roseanne, Barnes, Amy, Decker Drive, and Sayre.  Due to Wednesday’s forecast Museum Village Road’s paving has been delayed until the storm is over, but when it begins residents who utilize Old Mansion Road to Museum Village Road should expect extensive delays. Alternate routes are highly recommended.  Work will be done from Route 208 to 17M. Residents or commuters who use the Eastbound route 17 exit 129 off-ramp should expect extensive delays. Alternate routes are highly recommended. All work will be done weather permitting. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and our apologies for any inconvenience. Highway Supt. Wayne Kirkpatrick
