Farrington Street 5- Alarm Fire

City of Newburgh Police Officers were first on the scene and saw subject on the top floor. Officers quickly obtained a ladder from a fire escape and brought the subject to safety. Newburgh FD then arrived to the structure fire at 88 Farrington Street on October 19. They saw a fully involved structure with the fire on the top floor. Newburgh Command requested West Point one Ladder, and Air Guard one Engine, Cronomer Valley one engine to scene. Middlehope one truck/Orange Lake one engine stand by Public Safety Building. Fire fighters used hand lines and k-12 to cut thru roof. Mobile Life ALS-City Newburgh Police were on the scene. Orange County Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-13 was also at the scene. Resident was leaving the house as the fire departments arrived.  Fire fighters arrived hooked up to hydrants and started fighting fire.
