Three Armed Robberies This WEek In Town Of Newburgh
The Town of Newburgh Police Department is investigating three armed robberies which have occurred since January 25, 2020. Gas station/convenience stores were targeted in each instance. The suspect is described as a stocky black male, between 5’10” and 6’ tall, wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, and dark colored pants. In each case the suspect’s face was covered and he displayed a black, semi-automatic handgun, which was used to threaten the store attendants. Cash was stolen in each robbery. This description is consistent in all three robberies. Dates, times and locations are listed as follows:
– January 25, 2020. 01:19 AM. Valero, 5306 Rt. 9W.
– February 1, 2020. 0 2:06 AM. Gulf, 5465 Rt. 9W.
– February 5, 2020. 01:27 AM. Mobil, 42 South Plank Rd.
