The Week In Review-The Weekend Ahead

PLEASE HELP US KEEP YOU ALL INFORMED! OUR PRINTING & NEWS DEADLINES ARE ALL CHANGED!

Please everyone note…..that due to the Wallkill news printing conglomerate closing, The Orange County Post AND most other local news organizations are having to have their print copy done FORTY-EIGHT HOURS early, because it will be printed in  Freehold, NJ.    40 OTHER OF OUR AREA NEWSPAPERS WILL HAVE TO BE PRINTED THERE AS WELL Therefore it will an extra day for our Friday issue to be printed,  delivered to them and then returned to us for delivery to you.   ALL news and advertising submittals for this week must come to us by TUESDAY AFTERNOON OR WEDNESDAY AT THE LATEST.  The paper will still be to the postal service on Thursday for Friday-Saturday delivery to you.  However, and this is important (especially with many activities closed due to COVID-19) we, will be running at least 24 hours behind on any BREAKING news in the actual print copy.   There is currently NO  local printer that can do the job as of now, though we hope that may change later this year.  While it may change, but for now PLEASE SEND ANY IMPORTANT NEWS STORIES TO US AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!

We appreciate your help in this matter while the OC Post continues to work especially hard during these trying times, especially as we all try to stay connected and learn about better times coming ahead.

ANY PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT BREAKING NEWS WILL CONTINUE TO BE POSTED HERE ON OUR WEBSITE AS IT HAPPENS.

With COVID-19 news taking so many of the headlines, we really appreciate notice of and submittals of other things, and especially positive news, happening in our area communities!

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter, and as usual remain dedicated to getting a broad variety of important and clearly as well as unbiased Orange County news to you as quickly as possible.

Any news items of interest can be submitted to: ocpnews@frontiernet.net.
